As Ambassador of The Garden of Peace and of the Salima Animal Trust and SFT Animal Sanctuary, Laura helped create Africa’s first Garden of Peace at SFT Animal Sanctuary in Tangier, a living symbol of coexistence between people, animals, and nature.

She also helped Tangier earn recognition as an International City of Peace through International Cities of Peace, placing the city on the global map for community-led peace.

Laura also introduced PeaceJam to SFT Animal Sanctuary, creating a new collaboration around Voices for Animals and Nature, a youth-led peace curriculum that teaches coexistence between humans, animals, and the natural world through empathy, compassion, and action.

Because peace cannot stop at the human boundary.
